Eva Al Qallaf

Ms. Eva Al Qallaf is an enthusiastic and dedicated educator of young children. She came to Kuwait in 1988 and, after beginning her family, found a passion for education in the private education sector. Eva’s employment history includes teaching at Rainbow Nursery for five years as well as assuming teaching positions in Pre-K, KG1 and KG2 at the American Academy for Girls for 15 years. After pursuing a teaching certificate through the National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) developed by The National Extension College Trust of Cambridge in the U.K., Eva was able to assume the roles of both teacher and team lead for various grade levels as well as participating in accreditation, professional development, mentoring, curriculum modification and varied administrative responsibilities Eva’s enthusiasm for education led her to Kuwait University, where she accepted a position teaching English in the Community Service program, which she continued for six years. Eva’s insight into the emotional and developmental needs of children has been fostered by more than 20 years of teaching experience in Kuwait. She says, “Life is a never ending education; every day provides a opportunity to learn something new.”
